October 3–5

Chocolate might just be the most beloved vice of all. And the first weekend of October, the Northwest Chocolate Festival celebrates chocolate in all its decadent and sophisticated glory. The finest chocolatiers, local and international, will be featured at the beautiful Bell Harbor Pier downtown. Guests are welcome to tastings of craft chocolates and pastries, along with beer and wine pairings. Over 50 workshops and live chocolate-making demonstrations will enlighten viewers on what it takes to make a quality chocolate bar, truffle or fudge. Graze the deliciousness served from dozens of “true bean to bar” chocolate makers. Much of what you’ll taste is handmade, fairly traded, vegan, award-winning, or made in small batches using original techniques. Integrity and carefulness truly take the common to the exotic. This event is kid-friendly.

Day passes and weekend passes are sold at nwchocolate.com
